The Cottage U Vlastíka – Malá Morávka

The cottage U Vlastíka is situated in the village of Malá Morávka which is about 15 km far from Bruntál and 7 km far from the climatic spa Karlova Studánka. The mountain villages Malá Morávka and Karlov are the biggest holiday, tourist and ski resorts in the Jeseníky Mountains and there are 36 ski lifts and slopes of various difficulties. In 1995 the village was proclaimed a listed area which is made up by a typical timbered folk architecture. In the centre of the village there is an 18th century Holy Trinity parish church which forms a scenic unit with the baroque parsonage from 1770. A gem of baroque architecture is also the chapel Karliččin vrch (Karlička’s hill) which nowadays serves as a museum of mining.

Directions:
By car: from Jeseník (from Poland): Take the road I/44 in directions Bělá pod Pradědem, Domašov, turn left at the intersection and take the road II/450 over Vidly to Vrbno pod Pradědem. Turn right at the intersection and take the road II/445 over Karlova Studánka to Malá Morávka. Turn right to the cottage after about 1 km near the Kopřivná territory. from Rýmařov (from Olomouc, Brno, Šumperk, East Bohemia): Take the road I/11 in directions Bruntál. Turn left at the intersection before Malá Šťáhle and take the road II/445 to Malá Morávka. Then continue about 3 km in directions Karlova Studánka, the turning to the cottage is on your right near the Kopřivná territory. from Bruntál (from Ostrava, Opava): Take the road II/452 to Staré Město u Bruntálu, then continue on II/450 to Rudná pod Pradědem and Malá Morávka. Then turn right and take the road II/445, continue about 3 km in directions Karlova Studánka, the turning to the cottage is on your left near the Kopřivná territory. By bus: The nearest bus station is Malá Morávka,,Pod Kopřivnou - about 120 m from the cottage. By train: The nearest railway station is Malá Morávka - about 3 km from the cottage.
